Sustainability
This year, Brockencote Hall is making a stand against waste by producing a sustainable and socially conscious alternative to the traditional Christmas cracker. There is no plastic to contend with, and a flat design significantly reduces transportation requirements, resulting in a lower carbon footprint.
Did you know?
Every year, 40 million Christmas crackers are discarded. When lined up end to end, this equates to 1,220 Mount Everest’s stacked on top of each other, and that’s not considering the unnecessary plastic inside!
This year, we are giving back to our local community by donating a food hamper for every residential Christmas Package to The Basement Project.
The Basement Project are an independent local charity that helps young people under 25 with any issues or problems they are experiencing. The Basement is a safe, secure environment and offers some stability and guidance to young people.
