Small Hotel of the Year
Tropée de la Meilleure Carte des Vins de Champagne

To those who have yet to discover Brockencote Hall, there is something very special nestling in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside. From the long drive that winds its way up from the road past the lake, you can see an impressive former Victorian mansion that has been lovingly restored to present an attractive country house hotel.

The mellow colours and the landscaped parkland that surrounds the hotel, stretching to over seventy acres in all, provide a hint of something special without revealing what it is.

RED STAR HOTEL

MIDLANDS EXCELLENCE IN TOURISM AWARDS 2007, SILVER

As you leave your car and walk towards the imposing entrance and enter through the welcoming wooden doors, you are suddenly aware that this is no ordinary hotel. You are in a genuine French enclave with all the warmth and hospitality regular visitors to France experience on returning to a favourite place.

The scent of herbs, log fires and superb cooking mingle. You're met by Joseph and Alison Petitjean the proprietors who have over the past 20 years created an oasis of elegance formed around an authentic French ambience and quality cuisine which combine to make a stay quite memorable.

The hotel has seventeen beautiful country style bedrooms including one on the ground floor, especially designed to make stay comfortable for disabled guests. All the rooms have ensuite facilities and all the conveniences required to make a stay complete. Indeed the hotel has a 3 AA Red Stars for high standards of comfort and hospitality.

The restaurant is renowned throughout the area for its cuisine and  Restaurant Manager Gilles Larroque   keeps a superb cellar - but wouldn't you expect that from a Frenchman! The room itself is charming with superb décor, plunging drapes and wonderful views.

The kitchen is managed by head chef  Didier Philipot and has received 2 AA Rosettes in 2006 for its high standards and imaginative dishes. Open seven days a week, the hotel is a popular 'short break'  venue with many of their business guests returning to relax in the atmosphere with their partners when they have the chance.

Brockencote Hall is a very special place. The desire to share the atmosphere, and to sample the delights of this little piece of France is almost overwhelming.
