Brockencote Hall is the Winner of the  Heart of England For Excellence Small Hotel of the Year 2009/10

A ‘country house’ represents a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and Brockencote Hall Country House Hotel in the heart of Worcestershire is one of the best. Privately owned and run by the Petitjeans, it feels just like a welcoming family home – elegant and friendly, a wonderful log fire, lovely views and wonderful staff.

This imposing Victorian country house is surrounded by its own private rolling parkland, stretching to more than 70 acres, providing complete peace and privacy. The hotel comes complete with restful views over the picturesque lake in our grounds and over nearby countryside – you can see the Malvern Hills in the distance. Each of our seventeen bedrooms is individually designed, some with four poster beds, and one specially adapted to make a stay with us for anyone with a disability, as comfortable as possible.

You'll find Brockencote Hall just thirty minutes from Birmingham International Airport and a similar travelling time from the centre of Birmingham, yet its perfect location, deep in the countryside, helps you feel it’s a million miles from anywhere busy. We’re within easy reach of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, the gorgeous Cotswolds and regency Cheltenham - and just fifteen miles or so from the city of Worcester with its impressive cathedral, the river Severn, its racecourse and the prettiest county cricket ground in the country.

Despite being in a rural location, there's access to wi-fi broadband internet.  And there are two beautiful light and airy function rooms ideal for meetings, small conferences, off-site board meetings or high level recruitment interviews. Want things to do whilst you're here? There’s a wealth of things to do close at hand – clay pigeon shooting in the grounds - with private lessons if you wish, fishing in our tranquil lake, tennis on our own hard courts and even croquet on our excellent croquet lawn close to the hotel - mallets supplied! Private parties, weddings and other special occasions are often celebrated here, with many being held as 'exclusive use' events.

Our wonderful restaurant is led by Head Chef John Sherry who, whenever possible, searches out the best local food sourcing where he can from our quite excellent    local producers. We were recently voted ‘England for Excellence' Small hotel of the Year 2009/10 in the Midlands to add to our string of awards.
