Our Perfect Wedding at Brockencote Hall

Just a stunning setting, truly perfect in every way. The hotel was exactly how we imagined and planned it to be. Having exclusive use of the venue was a must for us, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, elegant, and seamless. The grounds and the atmosphere made the most beautiful backdrop for our day.

The Lodge

We stayed in the lodge the night before and on the morning of the wedding, and it was just perfect. Honestly, I wanted to move in! With three en-suite bedrooms, a lovely living room, kitchen, and outdoor space, it was a dream. It gave us the ideal place to relax and get ready. The staff then kindly moved all our belongings over to the main hotel and into our rooms, such thoughtful service and attention to detail.

The Morning of the Wedding

On the morning of our wedding, our wedding party car unexpectedly let us down. We only realised when it didn’t arrive, but as soon as we called the hotel, the team were immediately there to help. Within minutes, staff arrived at the lodge to drive my wedding party to the church, they truly went above and beyond. That level of care and professionalism meant so much to us.

Food

Just wow! From our tasting menu where we chose our canapés, wine, and menu — to the wedding day itself, everything was exceptional. Every single guest commented on how exquisite the food was. My husband even went into the kitchen afterwards to personally thank the chef and the team. The presentation, flavours, and service were all first class.

Rooms

Having exclusive use of the hotel meant only our wedding party stayed overnight, and the rooms were simply beautiful - spotless, comfortable, and perfectly presented. Every detail was just right, making our stay feel so special.

Samantha

Wow wow wow!!!

Samantha is just amazing, a true credit to Brockencote Hall. She took over our wedding coordination partway through due to maternity leave, and I’ll admit I was a little anxious at first about the handover. But from the moment we met her, I knew we were in safe hands.

Samantha has such a calm, reassuring presence and a genuine passion for what she does. Nothing was ever too much trouble, every question, every small request, she handled with total care and attention to detail. She completely understood my vision and worked so hard to make it a reality.

On the day itself, she was simply outstanding. She kept everything running smoothly, quietly coordinating behind the scenes so that we could just relax and enjoy every moment. When we decided to move the speeches very last minute (literally as meals were plated) she made it happen seamlessly, without any disruption.

Samantha went above and beyond in every possible way. She thought of everything before I even had to ask, checked in discreetly to make sure we were happy, and always had the biggest smile on her face. Her professionalism, kindness, and organisation were second to none.

Our day wouldn’t have been the same without her. Samantha truly made our dream wedding come to life, and we’ll be forever grateful for everything she did for us.

The Hotel Staff

Every single member of the Brockencote Hall team deserves recognition. From the reception staff to the bar team, the waiting staff, housekeeping, and everyone working quietly behind the scenes, each person played a part in making our day perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every member of staff was warm, friendly, and professional. They worked together seamlessly to make sure everything ran smoothly, and it genuinely showed.

Brockencote Hall and its team made our wedding day truly magical. Every part of our experience was perfect, from the lodge to the food, the staff, the stunning setting and of course Samantha. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
