Weddings

Our wedding package has been designed to minimise the work involved in organising your reception, with no hidden cost.

The following menus have been compiled to give balance of presentation and flavour, however should you require information on designing your own menu, please contact us. In order to ensure complete success of your function, it is necessary for all your guests attending to partake of the same menu. We are sorry that we cannot offer a choice of dishes at a function, but every assistance will be given to provide for religious and dietary requirements.

Included in our Wedding Package are the following:

Aperitif with Canapes

2 glasses of either

  • Wine or Kir (with Blackcurrant or Peach Liqueur) and Fruit Juice
  • Or Sherry and Fruit Juice
  • Or Pimms and Mixer and Fruit Juice

Three course meal inclusive of Coffee and Petits Fours

  • Courses can be swapped around within the same price range
  • House Wine (Red or White) with the meal, Mineral Water on tables
  • One glass of Champagne per person for the Toast
  • Cake stand and knife
  • Hire of room
Corkage: As our package includes wine for the day, we do not allow customers to bring their own drinks.
 
 
Numbers: Final numbers must be advised 5 days before the function and will be the amount charged for, irrespective of whether attending numbers drop below the advised figure. 
 
Maximum numbers we can cater for are:
  • 46 in the Terrace Dining Room                
  • 32 in the Malvern Room
  • 26 in the Library    
  • 14 in the Heron Room
  • 72 in the Terrace & Library
  • 100 for and evening buffet (on an exclusive use basis only)

All prices are inclusive of V.A.T. at the current rate. Prices are subject to variation without prior notice. However, every effort is made to hold prices quoted for 6 weeks prior to each occasion.

Booking Confirmation

A deposit of £1000 is required with a letter of confirmation for all bookings. In the event of cancellation we regret that deposits can only be refunded if the room is re-sold for a similar event. The final balance of amount must be paid 7 days prior to the function.

Times

We suggest an arrival time of 12.00- 12.30pm to allow 45 minutes for Photographs and for latest sitting down time of 1.30pm. We request that all Wedding party guests leave the premises before 5.30pm. Last orders for drinks will be called at 4.45pm.

Exclusive Use

Should you wish to extend your wedding celebrations into the evening we can offer Brockencote Hall on an exclusive use basis, whereby you can arrive in the afternoon from 3pm and have a wedding breakfast, stay overnight and leave the next morning before 11am.
  • Monday to Thursday: £2000 including service & VAT
  • Friday: £4000 including service & VAT
  • Saturday: £5000 including service & VAT
  • Sunday: £3000 including service & VAT
  • Bank Holiday Sunday : £4000 including service and VAT
This would cover the cost of the Bedrooms irrespective as to whether they are let.
The income from let bedrooms would be deducted from that amount
Example: Exclusive use on a Tuesday (you charge guests £100.00 per room, you let 15 rooms = £1500)
EXTRA COST OF EXCLUSIVE USE £2000 - £1500 = £500
The cost of the wedding breakfast and all other catering services are extra.

We can provide an evening buffet for your guests. Quotation on request.

CIVIL MARRIAGES AT BROCKENCOTE HALL

 The Hotel is approved as a venue for Civil Marriages under the Marriage Act 1994. The Charge for providing the facilities requested by the registrar for a civil ceremony at the hotel is £250.00 up to a maximum of 40 people. Over this number and up to 72   people  for the civil  ceremony  ( up to 72 people maximum  for the wedding breakfast) the Hotel must be hired on an exclusive use basis and the room hire charge will be included in the exclusive use rate.
 
Couples marrying at the hotel are required to book directly with and pay the Superintendent Registrar the fee determined by the local authority for his/her services.
 
Couples will then have to liase with the hotel to determine numbers, times etc to ensure all guests arrive in time for the ceremony.
