Worcestershire's Best Kept Secret

Brockencote Hall in Worcestershire have added yet another award to their already impressive list of accolades including three AA Red Stars, two AA Rosettes and an ‘Enjoy England’ Gold Award for Excellence.

LateRooms.com have announced the winners of their annual Best Kept Secret Awards and revealed that Brockencote Hall is one of the ten hotels to have excelled in their categories. The awards, which searched up and down the country for top notch facilities in the industry, singled Brockencote Hall out as the winners of ‘Best Dining Category’.

The luxury Victorian country house hotel, having recently become part of the Eden Hotel Collection, was shortlisted from thousands of entrants and raced ahead of all the competition to win the approval of LateRoom’s panel of expert judges and secure  ‘Best Dining’ in the ‘Best Kept Secret Awards’.

Head Chef Adam Brown, formerly of The Eden Hotel Collection’s Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, has worked under some of the top chefs in the industry and was delighted to have won so soon after taking over Brockencote’s kitchens. He admits that the award took him completely by surprise but meant that Brockencote was already moving in the right direction.

Dean Gunston, the new General Manager formerly of the Eden Hotel Collection’s Kings Hotel in Chipping Campden, was equally thrilled, remarking,

‘This award means so much as it is voted for by the public. It is a fantastic recognition of the team here at Brockencote who work so hard to create a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food for our guests’.
