Victorian Mansion added to Luxury Hotel Collection
Eden Hotel Collection, the group of award-winning luxury country house hotels and restaurants privately owned by Sir Peter Rigby, has announced that they have taken ownership of Brockencote Hall Hotel, a Victorian Country Estate in Worcestershire.
Brockencote Hall will add to the four-strong portfolio of hotels and restaurants that make up the Eden Hotel Collection. Already in the fold are Michelin starred Mallory Court in Leamington Spa, Buckland Tout-Saints in Devon, The Kings Hotel in Chipping Campden and the celebrated Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, opened in partnership with The Royal Shakespeare Company in 2010.
Brockencote Hall already has an enviable dining reputation across Worcestershire with two AA Rosettes for fine food, an accolade that the team at Eden are keen to build upon. Executive Chef Simon Haigh, who has recently been awarded his tenth Michelin Star for the Main Dining Room at Mallory Court Hotel, is lending his culinary expertise to the venture in order to take the existing food reputation at Brockencote to even higher heights.
The hotel, set in 70 acres of grounds near to the Malvern Hills, is to undergo a complete renovation to bring it in line with the quality of the other hotels in the collection. Award-winning interior designers Nicholas Hollinshead, who led the refurbishment of The Arden Hotel, look set to take the helm for the renovation project and restore Brockencote to its former glory.
Group Managing Director Mark Chambers commented,
"We have been looking for opportunities to add to the Eden Hotel Collection for some time but wanted to ensure we selected a property that would complement our existing collection. Our four hotels have their own unique style and characteristics and we know that Brockencote Hall will be the perfect fit".
