Our new kitchen  is now complete!!

Since December we have been keeping a secret, but now we cannot hide it anymore! The beautiful new kitchen is in use. After a week of closure to enable the new kitchen to be joined to the original, walls made good and all equipment commissioned, we opened last week and what a difference! everyone has so much space to work. The pastry chef is right next door in chilled comfort and the chefs  are in kitchen heaven!! Photos coming soon! The new equipment has certainly enhanced the look and flavour of the dishes. come along and see for yourselves!

At an awards ceremony at the Orchard Cafe in Worceseter last week, we  were presented with our award by Sam Warnock of Visit the Heart of England Tourism. The award was voted for by the public and we are very thrilled to have been presented with this, thank you all  very much!

Your Family Tree. Getting Started.... and your next steps

An informative talk by Martin Baker on some things to consider when starting your Family Tree and how to make the best use of Internet resources to research and create your own Family Tree. This talk is aimed at people who have Internet access and who are either starting out on genealogical research or those who may already have a tree but want to find out more. There will also be an informal workshop session after lunch, where guests can ask specisfic questions.
The  day will start at 10.30am for coffee. the talk will be in the dining room seated on tables of 8, followed by a two course set lunch with aperitif and wine. The event will finish at 3pm .Cost per head £35.00 all inclusive, payable at time of booking.

Create a WinterCheese board with Dorothee Dalmas from Premier Cheese

Suppliers to Brockencote of superb artisanal cheese, she will show you the different methods of making different cheeses and how to match them with various accompaniements, not to be missed.
Cost per head £30.00 to include coffee on arrival, a two course meal, with a glass of wine and the cheese tasting. The event starts at 11.30am and finishes at 2.30-3.00pm. Payment required at time of booking.

What does your handwriting say about you?

The fascination with handwriting goes on and on and Owen Williams continues to deliver all sorts of interesting facts about what handwriting says about you! So we have invited Owen back again to give a deeper insight into handwriting and what it reveals.
Owen Williams is a certified Graphoanaylst and will show you how he reads  handwriting. He may reveal hidden talents you may have overlooked all your life! it's amazing how much you can learn in just a short time! There will be much interaction during the event and we guarantee you will be fascinated by this presentation.

This event is hosted by Tanners Wines in Shrewsbury, suppliers to Brockencote
Tanners are renowned for their excellent cellars and wines . More details about the vent will be posted later. the dinner will be a five course dinner created by Head Chef John Sherry. 
 Guests will be seated on tables of sixes and eights.
Price per head to include, aperitif, a 5 course menu with all wines; £80.00
